Mankind has gathered together to celebrate at festivals seemingly since the beginning of time. No, Spectrum hasn't been producing festivals since the beginning of time, but when you look at the resume and experiences, it sure seems that way.
Spectrum has been the concessionaire, producer and/or creator to countless music celebrations, holiday festivals, and community events throughout the United States.
We are all concerned about presentation, serving the client efficiently, and providing value, but the real overriding determining factor is how much revenue the concessionaire can generate. When you contract with Spectrum you virtually guarantee record maximum per caps and revenues. Spectrum is second to none in generating revenues.
For example, at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, Spectrum's concession revenue exceeded the previous concessionaire's revenue for the show on Saturday of the music festival weekend, with a full day still to go!
At South Park Meadow's Amphitheater, Spectrum generated a season AVERAGE per cap of $8.45.
At the Super Bowl XXXVIII's Main Event, concession revenues exceeded ONE MILLION DOLLARS! The list goes on and on.
What's our secret? There is no secret, just hard work and good planning. We understand that we deal with the most perishable of all commodities--TIME. We keep our stands open longer, selling non-alcoholic beverages and food later than others. We offer more of what the customers want in premium sizes. We advance shows and tailor our menus to the tastes of the crowd.
Spectrum offers the most aggressive number of points of sale in the industry; we are able to serve more people in a shorter period of time which is one more factor driving up sales.
We separate the sales and production functions, thus allowing staff to be singularly focused and extremely efficient. We completely prepare our stands with everything prior to the event's opening and provide each stand with a two-way radio. Each and every step we take is with the goal of maximizing sales.
We have very tight financial controls in place at all of our operations. We match dual signature inventory controls to an independent dual signature recap. We have the checks and balances in place to ensure all cash is accounted for. We are convinced that our cash controls are one more variable that accounts for our record per caps.
